Golf In Mexico

When most people think of Mexico, they think of sombreros, tequila, and piñatas. What may surprise you is that Mexico golf vacations are the number two golf destination worldwide. Mexico is amazingly diverse and beautiful and perfect for a championship golf course.

 The type of course can be as varied as the landscape itself.  There is the harsh beauty of Baja that is right alongside the Sea of Cortez.  Or the exact opposite is Puerto Vallarta, which has some of the world’s best jungle courses.  Once you get into the interior of Mexico, the elevations of over 5,000 feet will add a great to element to your golfing experience. 

 Another great advantage of golfing in Mexico is that it is literally right next door.  If you caught a direct flight from a major US city, you could be teeing off on the very same day and still have time to check into your hotel.  You will also find that the locals are some of the most polite and respectful people around, they will always be willing to lend you a helping hand.  Should you want a day off the course, go for a day of fishing off the coast or just drive through the lush landscape.
